The smaller junk journal pockets will hold up to 3.5" wide tags, journal cards, coin envelopes, envelopes, etc while the larger will hold up to 4.25"wide.  The background is from a digital copy of a late 1800's newspaper printed on 65lb card stock. These are sturdy pockets. They have flaps on the back to use to glue them down which gives you more room in the pocket than the traditional flat pocket.
